The February “We Are Plastic Ono Band” show — at BAM — has already become kinda legendary.

Today the LA show is going on sale, with special guests to be announced shortly.

David Strassman’s play, DUALITY, opened this week at the Edinburgh Fringe. (Pleasance Two,  nightly at 7pm.)

The List gave it a 5 Star  review… “The writing is truly superb and the performance – or should that be performances? – breathtaking in linguistic and ventriloquistic dexterity. Absolute genius.”

UPDATE: 5 stars from The Mirror too: “Duality is a fabulous achievement which manages to be many different things all at once. Duality is mind-blowing and I urge you to see it.”

After presenting him at Carnegie Hall last year, we have Kevin Smith at the Sydney Opera House this weekend. The plan was for one show…but it sold out, and a second show has been added in the Concert Hall!

Featured in the GRAPHIC festival, he appears alongside artists like Neil Gaiman and Aussie band Regurgitator plaing a live score to Akira.

Comedian Stephen Lynch plays Sydney’s Metro Theatre and Melbourne’s Crown Casino this weekend, his first Australian dates.

This week we’re introducing “The Rap Guide to Evolution”  at the Bleecker St Theatre. And it’s  it’s already on the front page of www.nytimes.com!

The Times calls the show “astonishing, and brilliant…this week, Darwin got it going on for a few days at the Bleecker Street Theatre, off Broadway. If you are in New York — go.” Here’s the whole review.

This week, Christina Aguilera came to one of our LA performances of “Puppetry of the Penis”.

Radaronline.com said: Christina Aguilera called into Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS FM show and dished that she recently went to see the adult only, racy, Tony award winning show Puppetry of the Penis. Christina raved about the show, telling Ryan.

“It was amazing! It was so great, we had the best time. It was the best night ever! It’s crazy what those guys can do. I took a picture of the “hamburger” and sent it to my mom!”
